Verified scripts

Turn verified behavior
into repeatable checks.

Qarmiq converts successful autonomous tests into Playwright scripts, verifies that the scripts behave as expected, and uses them to check known functionality again on later runs.

The real thing

A script has to earn “verified”.

Each stage is a decision the script has to pass, and the last one is what happens when the product changes.

  • On later runs the script goes first, and if it fails the agent re-checks
  • When the product still works, the script updates itself
  • Customers can download the scripts

Where it stands. Customers download the scripts today. Committing them to your repository is on the roadmap.

  5. The agent re-checks, and the product still worksThe script is updated, not recorded as a failure

Illustrative example.

In practice

What it does.

01

A passing test is only the beginning.

A generated script runs repeatedly and against a deliberately broken variant before it is considered verified. This helps establish that it can distinguish expected behavior from a failure.

02

When the product changes, check the behavior again.

Verified scripts run first on subsequent runs. If a script fails, an agent can recheck the product to determine whether the behavior changed or the script needs updating.

03

Spend less effort maintaining checks that no longer fit.

When the product still behaves as expected, the script can update itself instead of leaving your team to repair it manually. Genuine behavior failures can then be investigated with evidence.

Why scripts stay honest

A script never decides a failure by itself.

A script that fails is a question, not a verdict. Something outside the script decides whether the product broke.

Re-checked by the agent

A failing script is checked again by the agent. A real failure is recorded only when the product really fails.

Repaired, not rewritten by hand

When the product still works, the script updates itself, so a moved button costs nobody an afternoon.

Coverage that grows

Behavior that passing tests confirm repeatedly becomes new script coverage, proposed for a person to accept.
