How we use cookies

The Qarmiq marketing site (qarmiq.ai) uses Google Tag Manager to load analytics tags. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, these tags load only after you accept cookies in our cookie banner. For visitors elsewhere, they load by default and you can opt out at any time through the banner or the Cookie settings link in the footer. We also treat the Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out. We do not use session-recording, advertising or marketing cookies. We group cookies by purpose:

(i) Strictly necessary cookies are required for the site to function (for example, remembering your cookie consent choice). These do not require consent under applicable law and are used automatically when you access the website.

(ii) Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland these are activated only after you give consent. Elsewhere they are activated by default unless you opt out.

(iii) We do not currently use session-recording cookies. If we introduce them, they will be activated only after you give consent.

(iv) We do not use advertising or marketing cookies.

(v) We do not sell or share information collected through cookies for behavioral advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising purposes.

Managing your consent

When you first visit qarmiq.ai from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we present a banner asking whether you accept analytics cookies, and analytics tags load only if you accept. Elsewhere, analytics tags load by default and the banner lets you opt out. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent under applicable laws and are used automatically when you access the website.

You can change your choice or opt out at any time through the Cookie settings link in the footer of our website, which reopens the cookie banner. Browsers that send the Global Privacy Control signal are treated as opted out. You can also clear your browser's local storage and cookies for qarmiq.ai, or block all cookies from your browser settings, although strictly necessary cookies are required for the site to function correctly and efficiently.

Third-party privacy policies

We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party websites or services. Your use of such services is governed by their respective privacy policies and terms. To the extent Qarmiq uses third-party analytics and optimization services, it does so on a principal-to-principal basis. While we verify that these providers implement standard security protocols, Qarmiq does not control their internal operations. You acknowledge and agree that Qarmiq shall not be held liable for any data security incident, technical malfunction, or privacy breach originating within the infrastructure or systems of these independent third-party providers. Google's Privacy Policy applies to Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.

Cookies in the Qarmiq product

The Qarmiq platform (app.qarmiq.ai) uses cookies to keep you signed in and to maintain your session. These are functional cookies necessary for the product to work, cannot be disabled while using the service, and are separate from the marketing-site cookies described above. Use of the product is governed by our SaaS Subscription Agreement.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date on the top of this page.

Where required by applicable law, we will seek fresh consent before using cookies for new purposes or before introducing new categories of non-essential cookies.
