Scenarios and checks

Define what your product
must always get right.

Describe critical product behavior in plain language. Qarmiq turns those expectations into verifiable checks that remain meaningful as your interface and implementation change.

The real thing

A scenario, and what proves it.

Each check is one specific thing to verify, with a tag for the kind of check and a note on how it is confirmed.

  • Checks tagged happy path, negative, edge case, security, accessibility or performance
  • Each one says how it is verified: in a browser, by API or database, by a person, or by a connector
  • Full version history of every scenario, with restore to any earlier version

In practice

What it does.

01

Start with behavior, not test scripts.

“A paid order always produces an invoice.” One sentence captures the expected outcome. Checks then establish how that behavior is verified, including normal flows, edge cases, and failure scenarios.

02

Protect the behaviors that matter most.

Mark critical scenarios as red lines. When a non-negotiable behavior fails, Qarmiq raises an alert so the team can investigate.

03

Keep your expectations current.

Organize scenarios by product area, review suggested duplicates, and maintain version history as requirements evolve. Each run preserves the exact scenario wording it tested.

Why plain sentences

A redesign should not break a promise.

Because checks hold no screen detail, what you wrote still holds when a button moves or a flow is rebuilt.

Grouped, not scattered

Organize scenarios into areas and collections. AI suggests duplicates and better placements, and a person accepts or dismisses each one.

Versioned

Every scenario keeps its history. A run keeps the exact wording it tested, even if the scenario changes later.

Merge with a wizard

A guided wizard merges duplicate scenarios, and can unmerge them again, so the list stays one honest set of promises.

Start with the behavior you can’t afford to break.

We set a project up with you and turn a few promises into scenarios. Then you can read what comes back.

Qarmiq is not self-serve yet, so we set each team up directly. Pricing is one flat price per project.
